We strive to provide the highest quality care for our patients, but contracting with insurance companies means they dictate the duration of treatment sessions. In-network treatments are typically limited to 20-30 minutes. This is simply not enough time to conduct a thorough evaluation, effective treatment, or modification of a home exercise program. At Anewu Physical Therapy, treatments are 55 minutes and your entire session is spent with a licensed physical therapist. Longer treatment sessions reduce the number of visits per week and increase the impact of each session. This means fewer co-pays, less time in the car, and better results.

We work for our patients, not for insurance companies. Our rates are clear and easy to understand. Under most insurance plans, patients can be reimbursed for a portion of their treatment cost according their out-of-network benefits. We provide detailed “superbills” that can be submitted to insurance companies for direct reimbursement. Submitting this to an insurance company requires filling out a simple form and sending a copy of the superbill. This keeps our staff level, overhead, and collection times low, enabling us to offer competitive pricing for premium quality services.  Most patients with insurance are reimbursed a substantial portion of their appointment cost. In some cases, the net out of pocket cost for treatment at Anewu is lower than the co-pays and co-insurance at an in-network provider.
