Build Your Dream Career at Anewu Physical Therapy
We're a specialty practice focused on one thing: helping you become an expert in pelvic health while building lasting patient relationships.
At Anewu Physical Therapy, we've created something different. We're not a high-volume practice where you're expected to juggle multiple patients at once or rush through treatments to hit productivity targets. We're a specialized pelvic health clinic where you'll have the time, training, and support to develop true expertise and build a practice you're proud of.
What Makes Anewu a Great Place to Work?
We're building careers, not just filling schedules.

Most PT practices focus on keeping you busy. We focus on keeping you growing. When you join Anewu, you leave behind the revolving door of patients you see a few times and never hear from again. Instead, you build long-term relationships with people who trust you with some of the most intimate and complex aspects of their health.

Our patients come to us for pregnancy and postpartum care, pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pain, and orthopedic issues that require a deeper level of attention than most clinics can provide. Many become regular clients who return to us for years—not because they have to, but because they've built a relationship with their provider and know they'll receive thoughtful, individualized care.

This is pelvic health as a specialty, not a side offering.

Unlike larger practices where you might split time between pelvic floor cases and general orthopedics, we're 100% focused on this work. That means you're not the "one person in the office who can do pelvic floor when needed"—you're part of a team that lives and breathes this specialty. You'll have consistent caseload, ongoing mentorship, and the opportunity to develop deep expertise in an underserved, high-demand area of PT.
Mentorship Sets Us Apart
You'll work directly with Dr. Priya and Dr. Amanda—experienced practitioners who are invested in your growth.
Whether you're new to pelvic health or refining your skills, you'll receive hands-on training and ongoing clinical support:

-
Structured shadowing and case reviews as you build competency with increasingly complex patients

-
Regular communication (multiple times per week) about cases, new patients, and treatment approaches in person or via phone, text, and other apps

-
In-person training sessions focused on technique refinement, manual therapy skills, and clinical problem-solving

-
Direct access to experienced mentors who review cases with you, answer questions, and help you navigate challenging situations

We support your professional development through continuing education in pelvic health, trigger point dry needling certification, and pessary fitting training. You're not expected to know everything on day one—we'll help you get there.
What Your Work Week Looks Like
A full-time PT at Anewu sees an average of 25-28 patients per week in 55-minute appointments—with 5-minute turnover between visits and a lunch break at your discretion.

Here's what that means practically:

-
True one-on-one care. No double-booking. No juggling three patients at once. Just you and the person in front of you

-
Time to think and treat. You have the space to assess thoroughly, educate your patients, and provide hands-on treatment without watching the clock

-
Clinical autonomy. You decide the treatment approach. You build the plan. You have the freedom to practice the way you were trained

-
Flexibility in your schedule. You set your available hours for bookings. We help fill those slots. You're working roughly 30-32 hours per week total, including time for documentation and administrative tasks

Because we're a cash-pay practice, you're not dealing with insurance authorizations, denials, or treatment restrictions. Your clinical judgment drives the care plan—not a payer's reimbursement policies.
You're Part of a Team (Even if We're Small)
Right now, our team is intentionally small: one full-time PT and Dr. Amanda (the practice owner) who handles mentorship, administration, and patient care. We're growing thoughtfully and we're focused on building a tight-knit group of specialists who support each other.

How we stay connected:

-
Regular communication in person and through phone, text, email, and more

-
Collaborative case discussions and cross-referrals (we encourage patients to see multiple providers so they connect with the clinic, not just one doctor)

-
In-person training and mentorship sessions on an approximately quarterly basis

-
Team gatherings—holiday parties, summer barbecues, the occasional lunch on us

We also share space with Dr. Malia Swanson at Boulder Valley Direct Primary Care. It's a true collaboration—we refer patients back and forth, coordinate care when appropriate, and benefit from working in an environment where providers actually communicate. It creates a calm, connected atmosphere that both patients and clinicians notice.
Building Your Caseload
We're not a hospital system with built-in referrals. Building your practice here takes time and effort, but we support you every step of the way.

When you start, you won't walk into a full schedule on day one. We're a cash-pay, self-directed service, which means patients are choosing us intentionally—and choosing you as their provider. That takes some relationship-building.

Here's how we help:

-
We direct new patients to you. Most incoming inquiries go to the new hire during ramp-up.

-
We introduce you to our existing patients and encourage them to see you for their next visit.

-
We market you. You'll be added to our website, announced via email to our patient base, and featured in our outreach.

-
We connect you to our referral network—midwives, doulas, OB/GYNs, chiropractors, lactation consultants, yoga instructors, and many other practitioners who send us patients regularly.

-
We handle the sales and scheduling. Dr. Amanda answers all incoming calls, texts, and emails, screens patients, and books them into your available slots.

Realistically, it takes 6-9 months to build your reputation, rapport with patients, and referral network awareness to support a consistent caseload 25+ patients per week. It takes time, but pays off in the long run. During that time we work closely with you to develop the skills that help patients commit to care (understanding their goals, building treatment plans that meet their needs, communicating the value of ongoing support).

This isn't a "sink or swim" environment. We've done this before. We know what works, and we'll help you get there.
