Meet Dr. Amanda Gotschall
Founder of Anewu Physical Therapy

Hi! I'm Dr. Amanda Gotschall, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the founder of Anewu Physical Therapy. I specialize in pelvic health physical therapy, with a particular focus on pregnancy, postpartum recovery, pelvic pain, and helping women return to the activities they love.
I began my career in orthopedic physical therapy, treating spine conditions, chronic pain, and complex orthopedic concerns. Over time, I developed a passion for pelvic health and the unique ways the pelvic floor, core, hips, spine, and nervous system work together.
That orthopedic foundation continues to shape how I practice today. I believe in looking beyond the symptoms and understanding the whole person so that treatment is personalized to your body, your goals, and your life.
After building Anewu in Colorado, I recently relocated to California with my husband and our four children. I’m excited to bring my experience and passion for pelvic health to the San Clemente community and surrounding Orange County area.
As a mother of four, I understand firsthand the physical demands of pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, and finding your way back to the activities that make you feel like yourself. I know how much life asks of our bodies—and how important it is to feel strong, comfortable, and confident in them.
My Approach
I believe physical therapy should feel personal. You deserve to be listened to, understood, and treated as an individual—not given a one-size-fits-all exercise program.I combine evidence-based manual therapy, individualized therapeutic exercise, and specialized pelvic health techniques to help you understand your body and make meaningful progress toward your goals.Whether you're navigating pregnancy, recovering after birth, managing pelvic pain, or working toward a return to running and fitness, my goal is to help you feel confident in your body and get back to the life you love.
